Process

Our recruitment process aims to find out as much as possible about you and how suited you are for a position within our graduate scheme. We recognise that you may find some stages of our recruitment process more daunting than others, so we want to make sure you know what to expect at each stage.

01.
To apply and be considered for our Graduate Programme, please click on APPLY NOW. The application will help us to gather basic and important information about you such as personal data, contact details, academic record, interests, hobbies and work experience. It also starts the screening process by asking you to answer some competency questions. Please see the FAQ section of this site for hints, tips and further guidance.

02.
If your application is successful at this first stage, we will contact you to request that you take part in our two online tests. These cover two areas: verbal reasoning skills and numerical skills. Please visit the FAQ section to access some practice questions and to get further guidance on how to prepare.

03.
If you successfully meet the requirements for the online testing, we will contact you to schedule a telephone interview. The interview will ask you various questions to begin to measure the competencies and traits needed to be successful at Edgen Murray. Again, the FAQ section gives you more information on what to expect and any preparation you should do.

04.
The Face-to-Face interview will be held with our Head of Human Resources for the Eastern Hemisphere. This will be used to get to know you a bit better, to dig a bit deeper into any of the first elements of the screening process and to give you an opportunity for us to review and verify your qualifications and citizenship or visa status.

05.
Candidates who are successful through this stage will be invited to attend a 1-day assessment centre, where they will meet and be put through their paces by Edgen Murray’s Eastern Hemisphere Board.
